WILMINGTON, DELAWARE — The Delaware State Police has identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Friday afternoon in Wilmington as 29-year-old Brian Silva, known to loved ones and members of the community by the nickname “Tango.”
Silva, a resident of New Castle, Delaware, was pronounced dead following the collision, which remains under active investigation. Authorities have not yet released full details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash, including how many vehicles may have been involved.
According to state police, troopers responded to reports of a serious crash in Wilmington, Delaware on Friday afternoon. Upon arrival, first responders located Silva suffering from critical injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators from the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit are working to determine the sequence of events that led to the crash. The unit specializes in examining physical evidence, roadway conditions, vehicle damage, and other forensic details to accurately reconstruct serious and fatal collisions.
