In Loving Memory of Allison Schwartz
It is with heavy hearts that we reflect on the life of Allison Schwartz, whose passing resulted from a tragic crash during the early morning hours of December 28, 2025, on Barron Russell Road in Jones County. Around 2:30 a.m., deputies responded to the scene of a wreck involving a side-by-side style UTV occupied by Allison and her husband, Zachary Schwartz. According to investigators, the couple was traveling along the roadway when their vehicle collided with a large tree that had recently fallen across their path, leaving no opportunity to avoid the impact.
The collision caused Allison to be ejected from the vehicle. Despite the swift arrival of first responders, she was pronounced deceased at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash. Her sudden loss leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of her family, friends, and loved ones, who now mourn a life taken far too soon. Allison was a wife, a loved one, and a part of a community that will not forget her presence or the joy she brought to those around her.
Zachary sustained minor injuries and was taken to Atrium Medical Center for treatment. In the days that followed, a criminal investigation was opened after evidence indicated that impairment and tampering played a role in the incident. While legal proceedings continue, the focus remains on honoring Allison’s memory and supporting those who loved her.
