In Loving Memory of Jordan Hadley
It is with deep sadness that we honor the life of Jordan Hadley, 33, of Columbia, Kentucky, who tragically passed away on January 13, 2026. His sudden loss has brought tremendous sorrow to his family, friends, and the Adair County community, who are left grieving a life taken far too soon.
On Tuesday afternoon, at approximately 3:02 P.M. CST, Kentucky State Police Post 15 Troopers responded alongside the Adair County Sheriff’s Office to a residence on KY 55 South for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found Jordan critically wounded from an apparent gunshot injury. He was immediately transported to T.J. Sampson Hospital for lifesaving treatment; however, despite every effort, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by the Adair County Coroner.
While the incident remains under investigation and legal proceedings continue, those who knew Jordan choose to remember him for the man he was in life rather than for the tragedy that ended it. Jordan was a son, a friend, and a member of a community that knew his personality, his humor, his stubborn resilience, and the quiet loyalty he carried toward those he cared about. At just 33 years old, his story was still unfolding, with many chapters left unwritten.
As loved ones mourn his loss, they also hold tightly to the memories he leaves behind. May Jordan rest in peace, and may his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
