In the early hours of January 13, 2026, at approximately 3:34 a.m., the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office 911 Call Center received a report of a self-inflicted gunshot on the 5000 block of NC 242 North. Deputies who arrived at the scene confirmed that Clayburn had tragically lost his life.
Family members and friends were present and have been interviewed by authorities, who continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking event.
