In Loving Memory of Larry and Sandra Moore
The Westminster community is grieving following the tragic deaths of Larry Moore, 76, and his wife, Sandra Moore, 75, who were found in their Cromer Moore Drive home on Thursday evening. The couple had not been heard from earlier in the week, and a family member discovered them before contacting authorities. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office responded around 9:05 p.m. and has confirmed that the case is being investigated as a homicide.
While the investigation continues, the loss of Larry and Sandra is being felt most deeply by the people who knew them not as names in a report, but as a devoted couple who shared a long and loving life together. Described as kind, steady, and deeply committed to one another, the Moores lived their later years grounded in faith, family, and community. Their connection to Calvary Church and their quiet presence in the neighborhood made them familiar and respected figures to many.
To those who loved them, their legacy will not be defined by the tragedy that ended their lives, but by the years of companionship, compassion, and warmth they offered so freely. Their passing leaves behind a profound void, but also memories that will continue to bring comfort and strength.
Investigators are asking anyone with information or home security footage from Tuesday evening through Thursday morning to contact the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office or submit anonymous tips through Crimestoppers.
May Larry and Sandra Moore rest in peace.
